This blog has been viewed by 242 visitor(s) Third item off my wish list... check. Ok... so I decided not to go for the Hybrid. Big deal. But I consider this an upgrade more than a downgrade. I couldn't justify the price of the Hybrid vs the specs it came with. Which is why I bailed out and decided to get this instead.
It arrived earlier than expected. Which isn't a bad thing... not at all... ;) I got this rig to serve as a dedicated entertainment box to complement my existing boxes; since I'm now moving forward towards rmvb, mkv and avi as my main source of entertainment.
A nice 18.5 inch LCD came bundled with it, but this will stay in the box until I find another use for it.
This fella is going to be jacked in straight into 6xy, which I bought earlier this month.
And it looks mighty fine. I still have some issues with the HDMI connection, so I'm sticking with the plain ol VGA cable till I can figure out what's wrong.
I decided to dump a wireless N adapter into the bundle when I made my order. But DELL didn't mention it came with this HUGE ugly ass antenna doohickey. Looks aside, it does it's job well.
