Done.
Completo.
Here's the photoshoot.
I decided not to use the lightbox this time. Went with a black background plus a mirror base instead.
Enjoy ;)

Front, with weapons.

The bigass GN Blade.

Aerial shot.

One of the biggest difference from the plain vanilla Exia, the thrusters.

Torso shot.

Leg thrusters unveiled.

Frontal pose.

Pseudo Gundam Wing pose... hahaha...
**decals are recycled from MG Aile Strike and Shin Musha leftovers, so purists... don't flame me... thanks.

Guest : From what I encountered, you would still need to do some sanding with fine grit sandpaper after spraying on primer, as the surface is a little 'gritty' and you won't get satisfactory result if you skip this portion. You can have a look an example of the mistakes when I was working on my Musha... here, I primer-ed without sanding.

Do u think that spray premier, spray Tamiya color then top coat matt will result a good effect?

hause : Honestly, I wasn't exactly pleased with how the Tamiya metallics turned out. The paint had these tiny reflective bits which made the finish look a little 'fake'. But the paint is extremely durable compared to off the shelf el-cheapo spray paint, which made decal-ing a breeze. And for the second question, yes. The color of the undercoat affects the overall color for the upper layers. A gray undercoat will give a darker finish compared to if you use a white undercoat. You'll need to experiment on this.

hey nice work.
Would like to know how the metallic spray paints of tamiya worked out.
By the way would like to know if the color of the undercoat really affect the overall color effect of the upper layers.
