Handpainting

Very little progress this weekend. Almost nil. But I did find some time to do some handpainting on the gold accents on the headgear as well as some black panel linings on the emblems.

At first I was thinking of just tacking on the included foil decals for the headgear, but decided to try painting them instead. And I'm pretty glad I decided to do so. Painting it gives a nicer 3D look instead of the printed look. Anyways, hopefully I can find more time next weekend to get more done.
