This blog has been viewed by 223 visitor(s) Being a little sick of the trash on Astro lately, I decided to play with the TV tuner on 6-xy to check out the terrestial offering over the local airwaves. After getting a little frustrated with manually programming each channel, I gave up and decided to hit the Auto-Store function instead. Lo and behold. Aside from the usual crap from TV3, NTV7 and 8TV, I was suprised to get...

And more stuff which I didn't understand.
All together, I managed to tune-in to 5 channels from our neighbours up north with rather satisfactory clarity. Which kinda dumbfarked me in a nice way. Free stuff are always good. I suddenly feel like I'm back in Bangkok... hahaha. Anyways... the novelty weared out pretty quickly coz the lack of sub-titles made things a little hard to comprehend. But I really enjoyed the crazy ass commercials though... way better than the crap we have over here. So I ended up watching Cheeni Kum starring Amitabh Baachan on TV3 instead.

No running around the coconut tree nonsense. Simple and sweet. With a good ending to boot. Deja vu was all over me... it felt like back in the days when my late grandma and I spent the lazy Friday afternoons watching Hindi movies. I miss those days. leave me a message
