A 17 year old punk creamed my ride while I was making my way back home from work. I found my door jammed shut due to the front fender being totalled. And now my front wheel won't turn fully because of the collapsed front portion. I'm usually a rather calm person. So, if I was a little mean to you just now kid... just remember, it's fucking dumb to say "Small dent only mar..."  for a damage of this magnitude. There could be a bodybag involved if you continue insisting that my ride was ok.

Fuck shit... my ride is NOT ok you dumbass...

I gotta learn not be so lenient to kids. After checking if the bugger was ok and giving him an earful, I offered to send him to the doc or back home. He declined both. So I got his ic and contact number, telling him to go home first and we will settle it tonight.

Wrong move.

The little prick refused to pick up the phone when I called him during the evening. And when he finally did at close to 10pm, he told me he will talk to his parents and agreed to meet me at my mechanic's place at 4pm the next day (I agreed as he mentioned he have classes and tuitions to attend).

I called him during noon today to confirm. Deja vu. He refused to answer yet again. This time, he totally did not reply my 20 or so phonecalls. Finally, at 4.15pm, I received an sms.

"Call 016-474xxxx"

And so I called that number. It was the bugger's parents. Turns out the little prick never told his parents about it and I had to explain the entire fiasco to them. They were rather defensive and played hardball at first, insisting things on their terms. And so I decided to go down town and meet them face to face instead.

I was psych-ing myself up for "battle-mode", just in case something happens (they were staying in gor-teow-lor... if you are a Penangite... you'll know what this means). But my worries were unwarranted. After introducing myself and showing them the damage to my car, they turned out to be rather reasonable ppl. And they agreed to pay for the damage. They also told me this wasn't the first time their kid creamed someone's car. Several times in fact.

Anyways, I've got a huge headache now, but I'm glad I got things cleared up.

Damn punk...
